Bethan & Meg

04.08.22

This was a really intimate day for just their close family members as they have their big celebration next year in France!

The day started with a coffee and a nice leisurely drive through to the Angel Hotel in Abergavenny for some bridal prep shots where Beth & Meg were getting ready for their big day. One of the windows in their bedroom had some amazing light coming through so I was able to use that for some of my favourite ever dress shots and silhouettes of the girls getting ready! After capturing the big moments such as their dad’s seeing them for the first time, it was time to head over for the wedding ceremony at Cardiff City Hall.

Luckily I had been and pre-scouted the area and found that there was an event on the grass directly outside city hall where you see a lot photographers taking their group, family and couple photos. I’d managed to stumble on the park behind city hall that somehow, in the 9 years I’ve lived in Cardiff, I never knew was actually there! It had some stunning grass areas, a couple of monuments and symmetrical paths that we were able to take full advantage of.

This was such a laid back vibe all day, it was a lot of fun and again, the best bit was hearing how much Beth, Meg and their families loved the images!
