Leanne & Arron

Leanne & Arron are an amazing couple, they’re Cardiff Devils fans, “everything hockey” fans and more importantly are just great, fun people to be around so that’s why I was gutted when I knew I couldn’t shoot their wedding (this was made clear as a possibility when Leanne first approached me). It turned out that I would be playing in a World Championship warm up game in Nottingham on their big day for Team Great Britain against Team Latvia. So while they were busy having a blast and having their final photos done, I was flying around my net in Nottingham trying to get in the way of pucks and stop them from going in to my net!

This is where the awesome Kelly Dixon comes in to play! She took the lead for me on Leanne & Arron’s big day at Llechwan Hall and did one hell of a job!! She got an absolute tonne of shots for me to edit and when I say a tonne, I mean more like over 2900 photos!!

It’s always hard to write about a day that I didn’t attend but Leanne & Arron more than deserve a mention. From what I heard back, the day was perfect for the couple and so much fun! Leanne was the perfect bride to have as a client and Arron was the perfect groom! There was even a spillage of red wine on the wedding dress!! Once Kelly knew Leanne was happy and laughing the situation off she obviously captured the whole crazy cleaning process which made for some great shots.

This wedding was by far my biggest delivery, I didn’t just receive a tonne of photos from Kelly, I received a tonne of GREAT photos from her which meant I edited and delivered a lot. I’m not a photographer that will work to minimum number of edits, if there’s a great picture in there then it’s getting edited and being delivered to the client!
